The ART of LIFE Community Health Centre
would like to invite you to the Life Seminar for Parents
"Opening the Door to Healthier Relationships with Your Children through a Better Understanding of Yourselves"
This practical workshop will give you the opportunity to identify and understand the meaning behind the most important relationships in your life - your children!
We have invited an expert in the field of family counseling, Stephen Dubrofsky M.A., M.ED, Family Counselor and Educational Therapist, to share his wisdom and experience in a 4-hour workshop.
Essential topics include:
- Identifying your Parenting Style and the Temperament of your child;
- Discovering how the Power of Change can alter your life;
- Communication as the seed of relationships;
- The "Hear/Mind Connection" that allows for a deeper understanding of who you are and what is your "Life Lesson".
"Step-Forward Learning Center: Positive Direction in Education"
is a fully integrated program designed to meet the family needs of children with ADHD,
Learning Disabilities, Autism & Developmental Disabilities.
Stephen Dubrofsky, M.A., M.ED. is an educator, psychologist and a practicing family consultant working with parents, children and individuals to promote healthy relationships within the home, workplace, school and community. He is also the author of practical guides for parents: "There Is No Magic", "Wisdom in the Family" and "I Knew I Shouldn't have Done It….but I did.”
The 4-hour seminar will take place on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 6:00pm
