How Vitamin and Mineral Intravenous Therapy Benefit Your Health

Screenshot: Nourish Your Health through Intravenous Vitamin and Mineral Therapy
The Epoch Times Health B6 November 13 – 19, 2014; Advertising feature

Nourish Your Health through
IV Vitamin and Mineral Therapy

The beginning of the fall is a great time to prepare you for being healthy, active and happy through the long winter season.

There is no doubt that our bodies need essential amounts of vitamins and minerals to stay healthy, energetic and to be protected from stress, toxicity or any kind of infection.

In many health conditions, people are not able to consume a sufficient quantity of vitamins and minerals with the diet or with oral intake of supplements. As a result of the deficiency of certain necessary nutrients, a variety of medical problems may arise.

IV (intravenous) Vitamin and Mineral Therapy

Intravenous vitamin and mineral therapy is well known and successfully used for more than sixty years all over the world: however, a lot of people are not aware that their medical problems can be solved rapidly and effectively with only a few sessions of intravenous injections.

Benefits of Intravenous Vitamin/Mineral Therapy

IV vitamin and mineral therapy can be beneficial for the following conditions:
  • - Low immune system or autoimmune diseases
  • - Chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia
  • - Chronic depression
  • - Hypertension
  • - Tension or migraine headaches
  • - Acute or chronic muscle spasm
  • - Allergy
  • - Malnutrition
  • - Cardio-vascular or respiratory problems
  • - Asthma or bronchitis
  • - Acute viral diseases or infections
  • - Addiction, physical or emotional stress
  • - Cancer, toxicity, hepatitis, mono diseases and others.
Using Intravenous Vitamin and Mineral Treatment

When we need a fast recovery, our digestive system very often cannot tolerate a high dosage of oral intake of vitamins and minerals, which might even cause additional problem for the stomach or intestine.

As an alternative, the direct infusion of vital nutrition straight into the bloodstream would give immediate help and a long-lasting result.

For example, to release the spasm which may cause high blood pressure, asthma attack, or tension headache, our digestive system might not tolerate a high quantity of magnesium, because that would cause a badly upset stomach. On the other hand, using an IV treatment involving IV magnesium will give fast release of the spasm.

Similarly, with respect to Chelation Therapy treatment for the cancer patient, or a Vitamin C infusion for the boost of the immune system, large amounts of the indicated substances cannot be tolerated by the digestive system. Occasionally, too, medicinal substances become inactive or might not be well-absorbed by the digestive system.

However, the highest efficacy will be achieved by the direct administering of nutrients into the blood stream. There is a variety of combinations of vitamins and minerals that might be extremely helpful for different conditions: some of these are Mayer’s Cocktail, B and C vitamins, magnesium, etc.

Glutathione and Your Health

Definitely worth mentioning here is one of the most efficient nutrients, glutathione. This nutrient can be intravenously infused on its own, or in a specially-prepared combination of ingredients. The glutathione molecule consists of three amino acids, present in the majority of the cells in our body. Its existence is mandatory in maintaining the normal function of the immune system, because it plays a critical role in the reproduction of lymphocytes; these in turn are responsible for the effective function of the immune system.

Since the cells of the immune system influence the level of the antioxidants in most cells, glutathione plays a vital role in the protection of the well-being of our body.

Initial Assessment

Naturally, before prescribing the appropriate vitamin and mineral cocktail in the optimum dosage, every patient needs the best possible initial assessment with our highly professional naturopathic doctor. Cold feet, edema, varicose, pain? Other circulatory disorders? We can help

Poster The Art of Life: Cold feet, edema, varicose, pain?
Other circulatory disorders? We can help

The circulatory system also known as cardiovascular system consists of heart, blood vessels, and blood. This system is responsible for circulating blood to our organs. Blood carries oxygen, nutrients, and collects cellular waste products and CO2 throughout our body. Our circulatory system is powered by our heart.

A circulatory disorder is any disorder or condition that affects the circulatory system. Circulatory disorders can arise from problems with the heart, blood vessels or the blood itself. Disorders of the circulatory system generally result in diminished flow of blood and oxygen supply to the tissues. Problems of the circulatory system are common and can be serious. Taking care of our circulatory system is crucial while any irregularities can affect directly or indirectly a specific organ or your body as a whole.

There are variety causes of circulatory problems such as: aging, smoking, alcohol consumption, diabetes mellitus, high cholesterol, varicose veins, and lack of exercise, general muscle weakness. In general all those causes form 5 groups: traumatic, compressive, occlusive, tumours/malformations and spasm of the artery, which diminishes its diameter and so, the blood flow.

Circulatory problems may occur more commonly in individuals with certain diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, or kidney failure, or in dialysis patients. Occupational exposure (vibrating tools, cold) can be a factor, and smoking also can aggravate and cause circulatory disease.

Some of the most common symptoms of poor circulation would include:
  • cold feet and toes (not only during winter)
  • cold hands and finger
  • pain and cold intolerance
  • colour changes in the fingertips
  • numbing or tingling sensation in the limbs
  • ulcers which do not heal
  • oedema, swelling and water retention (especially in the feet)
Although we know that weight management, a healthy diet rich in omega 3 and vitamin E, intravenous vitamin injections, regular exercise and not smoking can help circulatory disorders but patients with severe problems may require surgery.

In a lot of cases patients cure may be given by physiotherapy, exercise and massage; compression therapy (lymphatic drainage; oxygen therapy; combined infrared and electromagnetic therapy; gentle vibration (chi-machine) therapy and other natural approaches to improve blood flow, heal tissue and relieve pain, inflammation and fatigue.

We recommend Infrared Body Wrap and Compression Therapy, in order to reduce symptoms and improve circulation.

The result of Infrared Therapy will:
  • enhance blood flow by increasing the temperature in the targeted organ
  • increase the diameter of the vessel by relaxing the smooth muscle in the blood vessel wall which in return enhance the blood flow
  • boost the metabolism in the affected organ which also increase the blood flow
The professional medical device of the Compression Therapy or Lymphatic Drainage:
  • applies gradual pressure to muscles and veins to help the optimal blood flow
  • pushes back and returns the fluids into veins and lymphatic vessels
  • massages the limbs starting from toes and comes up step by step to the upper limbs
  • decreases heart contraction by helping blood flow back to the heart
By using both Infrared and Compression Therapy at the same session of treatment will help your limbs have more blood flow carrying more nutrients and oxygen while preventing swelling and edema.

That combination will help with the following problems:
  • Tiered legs, lymphedema, edema after sitting or standing for some time
  • Tiered legs secondary to venous insufficiency and lower limb Edema
  • Cold hands and feet & general muscle weakness
  • Varicose veins & Prevention of deep vein thrombosis
  • Vascular insufficiency due to early stage of Diabetes
  • Muscle spasms, myalgia, fibromyalgia, contracture and more.
Getting the right treatments for your problem will bring you back to healthy and active life.

Rediscover the Joy of Healthy Being: Invitation

Invitation: To Rediscover the Joy of Healthy Being
Invitation: To Rediscover the Joy of Healthy Being
The ART of LIFE Community Health Centre,  February 7, 2014

The ART of LIFE Community Health Centre

Welcomes you

To Rediscover the Joy of Healthy Being

Friday, February 7, 2014
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

The pressures of daily living — a busy schedule, the demands of work, inadequate family or personal time, not enough rest, environmental challenges — can lead to a life thrown out of balance, a disturbance of our natural equilibrium.

More than 30 years ago, Nikken founder Isamu Masuda recognized that wellness depends on recognizing and sustaining what he named the 5 Pillars of Health® — Healthy Body, Mind, Family, Society and Finances. A balanced approach to living strengthens each of these pillars, and results in a more satisfying, healthy and rewarding lifestyle. Nikken offers you the means to attain this balance, through Nikken products and the Nikken business opportunity.

Air Wellness® Technology
Air Wellness Technology combines multistage filtration (including a state-of-the-art ULPA filter), negative-ion generation and a unique system that operates without producing ozone, a toxic gas that is an unfortunate byproduct of other air systems. Only Air Wellness products offer all these features in combination.

Far-Infrared Technology
Nikken Far-Infrared Technology features specially-made, ceramic-reflective fibers that absorb energy from multiple sources — sunlight, room temperature, body heat — and reflect that energy only within the far-infrared range of the spectrum. It's a solution that provides gentle, natural warmth yet releases excess heat, to afford comfort at all times in a wide range of ambient conditions.

Negative-Ion Technology
Negative-Ion Technology — also referred to as Ionic Comfort Technology in some Nikken products — makes use of materials or processes that produce negative ions, which are charged oxygen atoms or molecules. High amounts of these ions are found in certain settings, such as forests and near waterfalls. Scientists have long studied the relationship between negative ions in the air and human comfort.

Full-Spectrum Light Technology
Full-Spectrum Light Technology approximates sunlight and is used to supplant conventional artificial lighting, which can provide only a partial and uneven portion of the normal spectrum of light waves. Research suggests that exposure to full-spectrum light may be effective in helping maintain natural circadian rhythms, the cycle of sleeping and waking. Other benefits include a reduction in glare and flicker effect as well as decreased energy requirements.

Kenzen® Wellness Organic-Based Nutrition
Nikken Kenzen Wellness Organic-Based Nutrition is designed to bring the daily diet closer to nature. Each ingredient in the program is carefully selected and where possible the organic content is maximized. The Nikken concept of Whole Body Renewal includes a Core System to help meet daily needs, and modules that offer support for specific biological activities: gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, neurological, immune, skeletal.

PiMag® Water Technology
PiMag Water Technology begins with a high-tech, multiple-stage filtration system based on natural materials to clean water without chemicals. It adds Nikken magnetic technology and ceramic elements that impart minerals to produce pi water, known in Asia for decades. The result is a unique water system that is more environmentally sound, more cost-effective and more practical than commercially bottled water.

BO TANAS, NIKKEN Independent Consultant of the Year
