Shocked Away Pain: Heel Spur, Elbow or Shoulder Pain, Arthritis and much more
Part 1: Testimonials

My heel spurs were so painful, that it used to be torture to walk even 100 meters. I had been suffering from that pain for more than two years. When I had heard the information about Radial Shockwave Therapy from a TV program, I had already tried every treatment that my family physician was able to recommend to me, including a cortisone shot. To be honest, I did not believe, that there was anything except surgery, that could stop my suffering. I can not even explain now what made me listen to my wife and call for an appointment in The Art of Life Health Centre. Exactly three weeks after I received my first treatment, I was able to walk for an hour, almost without any pain. Now, four months later, I don’t feel any pain in my heel. Currently, my wife and I are attending this centre for a very effective detoxification and weight loss programs. It is really unique place!
Vlad B.
I was treated with Radial Shockwave Therapy at The Art of Life Health Clinic for about one month. I had chronic plantar fasciitis for more than three years. I tried every treatment I could find for this problem, and Shockwave Therapy was my last hope. Miracles do happen! My pain has disappeared completely. I was so happy that I came back to the clinic to demonstrate that I am able to dance again!
Erin G.
The pain in my elbow was so bad, that I could not even sleep. When my family doctor referred me for a new physiotherapeutic treatment, I was so glad that did not even ask him for any information regarding it. I simply made a telephone call to book the first available appointment at The Art of Life clinic. When I shared with my co-workers my hope to be healed from my two year old problem at the mentioned health centre, their reaction was not encouraging at all. They were very suspicious about that new European equipment and were trying to convince me not be so easy caught by marketing tricks. They even checked all the information about Radial Shockwave Therapy that they were able to find online. All of us were surprised with the medical statistics showing successful results after those treatments being provided. Everybody agreed that I should give it a try. I received three treatments, and then, three weeks later - the fourth one. After the first two first treatments I got some inflammation. I knew from my conversation with the practitioner, that it could happen, and yet I was about to give up that experiment. It was my friends who asked me not do that. After the third treatment I was already able to sleep without painkillers. A few weeks later I went back to playing tennis. (I had stopped playing three years ago). I think, the public should be getting more information about the medical market and new developments from all over the world.
Fred D.
My frozen shoulder was giving me a hard time for at least four years. Every year I had to spend a couple of thousands dollars over and above my extended health care benefits for physiotherapy, acupuncture and massage. Even cortisone shots did not work anymore. Then my physician told me about a new European treatment called Radial Shockwave Therapy. Although I did not believe that anything except surgery could help me, I decided to try it. I had only two and a half months before the date when I was booked for surgery. I underwent three sessions with Shockwave Therapy. The pain was there, and I decided to go for the operation. Two months later I got a phone call from the hospital reminding me about the scheduled surgery and was shocked at that moment. I realized that there was no more pain in my shoulder. I had completely forgotten about it! I can not even tell exactly when that happened. Now I am coming to the clinic to get an absolutely unique treatment for the arthritis in my knees.
John F.
I received my first treatments with Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy five years ago in Israel. I had a really bad heel spur at that time. It was completely eliminated after five treatments. That is why when I was told that I had a calcification of my knee joint, I new what to look for on the internet. I was so glad that Radial Shockwave Therapy was now available in Toronto too. I already knew that Swiss Dolorclast Radial Shockwave Therapy was the most well known and medically tested equipment that famous athletes were using all over the world. I found it in The Art of Life Health Centre. Three treatments were enough to get me back to competitions in dancing. Many thanks to the professionals in that centre! Now I know how to get fast, effective and economical solutions for my health problems.
Victoria K.
That was fast! The pain was gone just after the first treatment, but came back in four days when I started to play golf. I recalled that physiotherapist told me not to use my elbow during the period of treatment. I came back to the clinic and received two more sessions with Shockwave Therapy. Four weeks later I did not feel any discomfort at all in my elbow. I am ready for the golf season!

Keyboard Is My Profession or the Best Treatment for Your Pain, Part 1

Keyboard - Is My Profession,
or the best treatment for your pain
2008 @ TheArtOfLifeCenter.blogspot.com
I inherited a whimsical gene combination from my parents. My mother, a refined amateur of music, theatre, paintings, and ballet, lived in an illusory world, in my opinion. Therefore I was taught non-practical things in my childhood – a history of arts, baroque music, ballroom dance, ancient Greece myths, and other nonsense. I absorbed everything with pleasure. However when I grew up my father took over my upbringing. A young professor, PhD in Technical Sciences, he liked everything exclusively practical, and was able to explain to a young lady like me, that even cute ones had to know how to put a piece of bread on the table; hence it would be better to obtain a technical education. Father’s genes turned out brilliant too. As in Tsvetaeva’s poetry:"I happened to be a good granddaughter for both grandmothers: both a skilled labourer and a softie”

This potentially explosive combination I had to refresh in Canada, to reshuffle and reapply in a new way. Virtuoso piano playing and my technical background helped me to master the computer keyboard easily and learn a few computer programming languages. To my surprise, I found a job in no time and developed a career. The relationship with my new colleagues was excellent and my salary rate was gradually progressing. Soon after, we bought a house and were decorating it with all our knowledge of the Décor...

Misfortune came unexpectedly – the pain in my hand from occasional became more and more persistent. Pretty soon my pain was quite severe – I couldn’t sleep at night. Within six months I looked like a disabled person: always sleepy, absent-minded and in gloomy mood. My coworkers started avoiding me, worse than that I could not work. I tried to shift the job load onto my left hand, nevertheless I cried because of pain each and every night.

After a visit to my G. P. [General Practitioner], I bought an elbow support, as I happen to be diagnosed with a complicated disease – carpal tunnel syndrome in combination with a tennis elbow. This is a case where a treatment decision can be difficult to choose. The elbow support did not cure my elbow, but slowed down the progress of my illness.

I was referred to a specialist who had explained to me two possible alternatives: a change of profession or a series of surgeries on my right hand. I was devastated: it is not possible to change one’s profession. What else could I do? Be a teacher of music? But it’s a keyboard again! "Oh, God, this is the way people become fatalists," I thought. Surgery was definitely not an option for me as the doctor could not guarantee anything.

Thank Goodness for the existing classmates’s web site. My classmates are all over the world now. I issued a call about treatment of my carpal tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow and received information in three days from Zurich. In Switzerland they have physiotherapeutic equipment, approved for Olympic athletes, that by Radial Acoustic Shock Waves breaks calcinations and heals inflammation around the joint’s groove and ligaments after only three procedures! "Sounds like a fairytale" whispered genes on my Mom's side. "I was ready to register disability papers, but now I can be healthy in two-three weeks and see the sights of Switzerland". The genes on my Father’s side were alerted by the fact that it sounded "too good to be true". I decided to search through the internet the testimonies of former patients that already have tried this fantastic equipment. This illness is a very common one these days; therefore patients already might have tried the Radial Shock Waves Therapy.

Simultaneously I made two discoveries! First of all I found patients in Canada who had successfully recovered. There have been few examples of uses of these devices already in Toronto. Secondly, none of the testimonies contained any negative information! The rest was easy: to compare the equipment technical features and the prices. The Art of Life Medical Centre had the best device features and prices, and the name of the Centre was really intriguing. Was that a triple coincidence?
A continuation of our patient’s story is in the next post.

Shock Wave Therapy Can Help Healing Tennis Elbow

Fighting Pain with Radial Shockwave Therapy: Back Pain, Shoulder Pain, Heel Pain, Knee Problems, Tennis Elbow, Ligamentous Damage, ArthritisThe Art of Life Health Centre & EMS Swiss Dolorclast®
Fighting Pain with Radial Shockwave Therapy (RSWT): Back Pain, Shoulder Pain,
Tennis Elbow, Knee Problems, Heel Spurs, Ligamentous Damage, Arthritis

We continue to update you with most recent successful stories. For those who are ready to make the first step to be healed from tennis elbow with Radial Shock Wave Therapy (RSWT), we also would like to present an interview with one of the Centre’s ex-patients:
- Olga, we know that you have received treatments with Radial Shockwave Therapy at The Art of Life Health Centre. How did you find about this Centre and what attracted you to it?
- One of my colleagues at work noticed that I was suffering from pain. When I told her that the pain was caused by tennis elbow, she suggested that I should visit the Art of Life Centre. As it turned out, she had been successfully treated there for the same problem.

- What caused your pain?
- Years of work in front of the computer, mostly under pressure. I was diagnosed with tennis elbow.

- Does it mean that not only athletes may suffer from tennis elbow, but also those people who work at the computer a lot.
- From what I have learned, the pain is caused by calcification of the bone, which puts pressure on the nerve.

- How long did you suffer from this pain? Please describe it, if possible.
- I felt the first symptoms a few years ago, initially only on those days when I was overusing my arm. Slowly the pain got worse until it started preventing me from performing normal every day functions - things like holding a cup in my hand, brushing my hair, holding the wheel while driving the car. The pain accompanied me 24 hours a day and I turned into a constantly annoyed and cranky individual. No doubt, it affected other people around me. I couldn’t relax my hand even at night during my sleep.

- Did you take painkillers?
- I did. And they helped me at first. But when my body got used to the pills, they became useless.

- Once you referred to The Art of Life Health Centre, how long did it take you to recover?
- After the initial assessment at the Centre and when my diagnosis was confirmed by their doctors, I was scheduled for three procedures, 10 minutes each, with one week break between the procedures. A couple of weeks following the last procedure, the pain was completely gone. I would say it took me approximately four weeks to recover.

- How are you feeling now?
- Still cannot get used to live without that pain. Also, I had to learn how to fully use my arm again. It’s been unused for awhile.

Congratulations, Olga! All the best to you and to all the patients of the Centre!
